When First Victory Construction asked us to help them tell their story, we sought out to describe what went into the construction process that often goes unseen. Through a combination of interviews and on-location filming, we were able to highlight many of the things they do best while weaving a story that provides insight into the construction process they undertake with each new project.

We recently worked with The Infamous Stringdusters to capture a few songs from their live performance at Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain. We used a combination of camera angles to showcase the energy of their raw performance, while working to highlight the scenic beauty of the venue’s location using aerial video. The video premiered in mid July on The Bluegrass Situation.

The crew at Pisgah Area SORBA asked us to work with them last fall to produce a video with several key goals: describe what the nonprofit organization does best, showcase their recent efforts to rehabilitate and construct new trails in the area and increase membership. We worked with them on several days to document their ongoing trail work effort, as well as to discuss some of the things they do here in WNC to try and drive awareness about their initiatives and boost membership.

Hunter Banks, one of our favorite fly fishing shops here in Western North Carolina, asked us to put together a short promotional video for them to showcase the beauty of the WNC region to prospective clients who may not be familiar with the area’s scenic beauty. We worked to highlight many of our favorite locations with a mix of scenic timelapse, aerial video and fishing footage to produce a unique look at the fishing opportunities available here in Asheville and beyond.

For the fourth consecutive year we worked with the crew at Blue Ridge Adventures to highlight the Pisgah Stage Race, a 5-day long mountain bike race that covers some of the best mountain biking near Brevard, NC. Each day racers take on around 30 miles of trails and we do our best to go as far and fast as possible to capture the best higlights from each day. Once the race is over each day we head into the editing studio and get to work to deliver a daily edit that is shown to the racers each night during the awards ceremony. Here’s a highlight reel from this year’s event with race director Todd Branham and some of the participants describing what makes this event so unique.

We worked closely with an Asheville marketing agency to help describe what Silverline Plastics is all about through a visually compelling look at their Asheville plastic manufacturing facility. This video used a combination of aerial video and motion-stabilized gimbal work to provide dynamic shots to keep the pacing of the edit engaging throughout.
